Scott thank you for being such a great mayor. I seems you take heat sometimes and always handle it with grace and dignity. Your job can not be easy and I just wanted to say as a voter you have made me proud!!!

I agree ace_61832...Scott has had his hands full that's for sure...and he's got the knack for handling something that not too many a person couldn't handle....You can't please all of the people I don't care if you died on the cross and come back people would not believe you no matter what you did....in fact the one that has already did that and look what has happened since....what they can't see they don't believe....Scott is a great Mayor and I'll help re-elect him if he runs for the office again...I don't think anyone else could have done the job he has but there's all kinds of rocking chair Mayor's in Danville or sitting in the Corner Pub running the country or town....but they couldn't have did any better job than he's done...Danville has went downhill some in the past few years but I don't believe a Mayor can be blamed for that....and it's like most towns in and througout the United States nothing stays the same...at all....

Gotta agree with you, BOB. Scott, is a breath of fresh air. If there's to be any hope for this town of retired people and Chicago transplants, it's going to be with him. The man is certainly on top of things present, and seems to always have plans for the future.
Tonight's meeting was a good example. It did my heart good to hear him explain to everyone that, indeed, there is a 'movement' of sorts all over the country to ban smoking. In many towns and villages it is an 'outside' organization that comes in and tries to persuade the locals how it should be. Scott wisely emphasized that the Council is being pro-active by getting a feel for local sentiment on this issue before any actual proclamations are made.
Kudos to you, Scott. I pity the fool who runs against you in the next election.

I was pretty sure that was you, shorty. You just seemed, well...taller when you were at the podium. Are you wearing 'risers' now?.......................................jus' kiddin'.
It was cool that you spoke up.
Kudos to you.

I want to thank all of you for your very kind remarks. I greatly appreciate all that you have said, and can promise you only one thing....that I will continue as long as the good Lord and the wonderful people of this community allow me to serve the people to the best of my ability and will do those things I only believe in my heart will make Danville a better place. While we may not always agree on the resolution I promise you will always know that my motive is only that I think it is right for Danville in the long run.

Scott is doing well because he cares and has Danville's best interest on the forfront. Now a personal message if I may. Thank you Mayor for your kindness to me on October 21. I never in my wildest dreams would of expected it to be Fred Halls day in Danville. I was speechless. Thank you again mayor.

Fred, my only regret was not being able to be there in person to present it to you. I had another obligation that I could not get out of and hated to miss it. Of course, if I had known it was going to last into Sunday, I probably could have made it!!!!! Freddy, you mean alot to this community and alot to me personally, and this was the least I could do to honor an icon and honor a great friend. And next time we are out, I will congratulate you personally, and the first cold one is on me. Congratulations My Hero!!!!!

Mr. Mayor, I never knew you wore many hats. First broadcasting, then politics and now card sharking. Where do you come up with the time? I now understand how you can keep your "poker face" during town meetings. Perhaps with all your earnings you could afford a new car......j/k. Now, if you could only teach me...... I'm just poking fun at ya' Scott, no harm intended.
